F7491 fault in siemens sinamics V90 drive indicates the STOP cam minus was reached. This means the axis hit the negative hardware limit switch, or the switch was incorrectly triggered while moving in the positive direction. 

Cause:
The STOP cam minus was reached. For a positive traversing direction, the STOP cam minus was reached, i.e. the wiring of the STOP cam is incorrect.

Remedy:
  • Leave the STOP cam minus in the positive traversing direction and return the axis to the valid traversing range.
  • Check the wiring of the STOP cam.
